Dr. Chetan Kalal is Maharashtra’s first DM Hepatologist — a milestone that marks a turning point in the state’s specialist liver care. A consultant Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Physician based in Mumbai, he currently practises at Gleneagles Hospital. He trained under the direct mentorship of Prof. Shiv Kumar Sarin at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi — one of the world’s foremost authorities on liver disease.

Qualifications & Training

Dr. Kalal completed his DM in Hepatology from the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi in 2016, training under the direct mentorship of Prof. Shiv Kumar Sarin — one of the world’s foremost authorities on liver disease.
