Dr. Chetan Kalal is a consultant Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Physician based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He holds the distinction of being the first DM Hepatologist in Maharashtra — a milestone that marks a turning point in the state’s specialist liver care. He currently practises at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai, and has previously been affiliated with Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital.
Qualifications & Training
Dr. Kalal completed his DM in Hepatology from the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi in 2016, training under the direct mentorship of Prof. Shiv Kumar Sarin — one of the world’s foremost authorities on liver disease.
